Terms & Conditions

Colour Cambridge (the “Event”) is a community colour run/walk and is limited to 800 entrants.  This is a fun family outing and is an all-weather, untimed event.

By purchasing your ticket, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

This fundraising Event is organised and coordinated by The Kids in Need Waikato Charitable Trust (Kids in Need Waikato). All funds paid are non-refundable.

Your e-ticket is proof of your entry, together with your wristband which will be in the event bag that will need to be collected ahead of the Event.  You can delegate collection to another individual, as long as they can provide an image or copy of your ticket.  Only individuals with tickets are permitted to take part. There will be no ticket sales on the day.

Children 10 years and under need to be accompanied at the Event, by a responsible person who is 16 years or older.

In the interest of keeping your personal property safe, we discourage you from bringing valuable items to the Event that cannot be kept with you on the course, as there are no lockers on site.  Personal belongings are therefore bought there at your own risk.

If a participant is unable to attend on the day, their place is forfeited and there will be no refunds.  Your entry fee will be donated directly to Kids in Need Waikato.  Should the event be cancelled, we will transfer your entry fee to a donation.  Donation receipts are available on request by emailing admin@kidsinneed.co.nz

The organisers will respect all ground regulations, as stipulated by Hautapu Sports Club, which include no animals, no smoking or vaping and no alcohol permitted.

Participants must obey all rules and signs as directed by event officials on the day of the Event.

Event Postponement and Refund Policy

Kids in Need Waikato reserves the right to:

(a) change the format of this event (and/or route of the Event) where it may become necessary or desirable to do so due to circumstances beyond the control of Kids in Need Waikato, and if that occurs, participants consent to the changes and agree that each and every one of the Event rules, terms and conditions will apply to that changed Event; and

(b) postpone or cancel the Event whether due to natural disaster, pandemic outbreak, any Force Majeure Event, or for any other reason beyond Kids in Need Waikato control. If the Event is cancelled (or postponed and participants cannot make the postponement date), participants acknowledge and accept that the entry fee is non-refundable, and the entry fee will be transferred to a donation.

Kids in Need Waikato will make reasonable endeavours to postpone the Event rather than cancel.

If Kids in Need Waikato cannot postpone the Event (or if the Event has been postponed once before already and the postponed Event cannot go ahead) the Event will be cancelled and the entry fee will be transferred to a donation.

If a participant is sick or injured and cannot participate in the Event, they may transfer their ticket to another individual or their entry fee will be transferred to a donation.
